Privacy Policy

The short version

Everything recorded in Wedding Booth stays on the iPad it was recorded on. We run no servers, keep no accounts, and never see your videos.

What we collect

Nothing. Wedding Booth has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party tracking SDKs. The app makes no network requests of its own, with one exception: purchases, which are handled entirely by Apple (see below).

Camera & microphone

Wedding Booth asks for camera and microphone access for exactly one purpose: recording the video messages your guests choose to leave. Recording happens only after a guest taps to begin, with a visible countdown and a recording indicator on screen.

Video messages

• Messages are saved as video files in the app's local storage on the iPad, and nowhere else.
• They leave the device only when the event host exports them — by AirDrop, the Files app, or a cable — which is entirely in the host's hands.
• Deleting the app deletes any clips still stored inside it.

Guest names

A guest may type their first name so the couple knows who left each message. The name is used only in the saved video's filename on the device. Guests can always skip this and record anonymously.

Purchases

The Event Pass and Booth Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store payment details. A small flag noting an active unlock is kept in the device's Keychain so a paid pass survives a crash or reinstall during an event.

Children

Wedding Booth is a tool for event hosts and is not directed at children. Guests of any age may appear in recordings at the host's event; those recordings exist only on the host's iPad, under the host's control.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Given the app's design — no data leaves the device — we expect it to stay boring.
